Temagami. In Ojibway, it means "deep waters", but to the fishermen and family vacationers who travel here, it has an even deeper meaning. A large, inland lake secluded in Ontario's Near North, Temagami is world renowned for its rugged beauty, serenity and, above all, prize lake trout. Whether for a family get-a-way or a fishing vacation, since 1905, guests have traveled to Temagami Lodge to enjoy the best of Northern Ontario's hospitality.

Temagami Lodge is located in the hub of Lake Temagami, meaning that while quiet and secluded, we are close to the landing for ease of travel to and from the Lodge. We are located on 8 acres of Temagami Island and have 2,000' of gorgeous shoreline. Located right on the shoreline, we have five housekeeping cabins with docking. Should you need a boat for fishing or for sightseeing, we have 16' aluminum boats for rent.

A place where pine forest trails wind their way along miles of untouched shoreline and where the clear waters, dotted by some 1200 islands, are abundant with pike, bass, pickerel, whitefish, speckled & lake trout, Lake Temagami is truly a fishing dream come true.

Whether you spend your days fishing, exploring Lake Temagami by canoe or kayak, exploring the Island's interior via the marked hiking trails, hanging out in your cabin playing cards or simply sitting on the dock with a great book, family vacations at Temagami Lodge have afforded generations of families the opportunity to reconnect and rejuvenate while enjoying life at a slightly slower pace.

Come and join us amidst the exquisite wilderness of Lake Temagami and leave your cares and worries on the mainland.
