We encourage our guests to explore our incredible Island environment. For guests wishing to explore the Island on foot there are marked hiking trails, each of which is a unique experience. Temagami Island has impressive stands of Old Growth Red & White pine. These ancient trees are certainly a site to behold. We’ve hiked most of these trails ourselves and would love to make a recommendation to you. We kindly ask that when exploring our Island and Lake Temagami that you practice no-trace, or minimal impact, hiking techniques. Ask our staff for an Interpretative Trail Map to further enhance your hiking experience.

You may also choose to explore the area by canoe, kayak or rental boat. Just ask us and we will endeavor to provide you with an experience you will find truly memorable!
